Longer lasting, healthier batteries.

  • Project Overview.

Whilst successfully launching the first connected charging solution in the world: the Smart Charging System, ARROE realised they were creating unnecessary e-waste.

So they repurposed the technology to become part of the solution, reducing the environmental impact of electronics.

With this new positioning, they required a new website to promote their new mission to reduce e-waste and carbon emissions.

01. Sitemap

Firstly, a quick sitemap was drawn up to plan out the structure of the website and to determine the main offerings that they were looking to focus on. Those being:

  • ARROE App – battery management for general public

  • Enterprise – battery management for businesses

  • Integration – first of its kind battery management and enhanced user experience

Once these 3 key areas had been defined, it was time to move onto the wireframe…

02. Wireframe

The three key areas were mapped out with low-fidelity wireframes.

This enabled me and the client to see at a glance the hierarchy of content and what was to be prioritised.

03. Stylesheet

Next step was to define a stylesheet for the website to ensure consistency when developing the site.

New colours were added to the brand to align with the new environmental positioning of the company.

04. Finished product

With the site structure complete, the next step was visualising the UI of the site, these were finalised with prototyping of specific interactions and finally passed on to the developers.

The new website launched to great feedback. It is now easy to navigate and has a consistent brand look.

Below are some screens from the final product.
